Abdominal Biofeedback Unit
The development of true core strength is often misunderstood. Influencers have warped our understanding of what true core strength is – It isn’t a 6-pack or being able to plank for minutes on end.
Developing appropriate core strength requires both an objective measure of what your current state of core strength is and knowing what are the most appropriate core routines to develop true core strength and stability.
The Abdominal Biofeedback Unit is currently the best way of objectively measuring your true core strength and stability.
The device consists of a pressure cuff and gauge which when placed under your lower back can accurately measure how well your core is able to stabilise your pelvis/lower back when performing a series of increasingly difficult core exercises.
By using the device on a weekly basis, you are able to accurately measure your core control, you can measure improvement over time and you can teach your core muscles to contract in the right way to support your pelvis and lower back during hip flexor loading exercises.
Upon receipt of your order you will receive:
- Abdominal bladder and gauge
- Testing protocol PDF
- Core progression routine that you use in conjunction with the abdominal device (you measure what level your core strength is at and there is a corresponding strength routine you can then undertake).
